Crescent's Edge was my first non-episodic campaign. Basically, that means the adventures are connected. So between adventures, I used to write stories about the NPCs, often in ways that loosely affect the party. So the next few comics are going to be about Lyle's quest to pay the party. FYI, that'd be the lamest quest a party could get.
Minotaurs are accepted characters in the Crescent's Edge campaign setting. Oddly enough, nobody wants to play a cow. They're fantastic choices for martial characters though. Vargetia is also a maritime nation, and the minotaurs have a proud naval tradition.
When drawing this comic, I decided to see what would happen if I didn't use a pen for the outlines. I'm pretty pleased with the result, and I'll probably keep doing it this way.
