It's important to be clear about exactly what has happened, or else your party might become wary of tent monsters. Interesting note: the player did make Tamaki drop his dagger when he was struck in the shoulder. It was a nice bit of roleplay, even though that puts Tamaki at an incredibly disadvantage in the coming rounds of combat.
