#014

I want to begin by dispelling any rumours about religion in my comic. The setting does not use any real-world pantheon, and in a number of places I've had to create unique deities. They aren't all terribly original. Today you find yourself in a church of The Crusader, a deity known for honour, justice, and valour in battle against evil. It has nothing to do with the Crusades of the Middle Ages.

It's been a while since I've been excited while drawing a comic. I mean, you can tell just by looking at the comics for the past week or so. Today's comic excited me, and I think it's because I was able to draw armour.

Every episode so far has been leading up to a coming conflict against a horde of goblins. Drawing Valdren today as he's equipped for the coming battle made me realise that it's near. There won't be much more need to set the stage. Of course I say that now, but it still could be at least a couple weeks before the party sees some action.
